The O’Hara Area of Port Charlotte lies between Edgewater Drive, Midway Blvd, and the Charlotte Harbor Preserves State Park.

O’Hara Drive anchors this area connecting many of its cross streets. Because of its location and proximity to so many main roads, O’Hara is convenient to most of the commercial areas of Port Charlotte, including the mall, movie theaters, and many local restaurants.

As the area has no deed restrictions or mandatory homeowners association, homebuyers will find a loose range of property styles, home age, and architecture in the area. Boaters will also find great differences in waterfront property access. While some boat owners may have easy sail access to the harbor, others may be powerboat only.
